Podiatry (Foot Surgery)

Step Without Pain

Overview

Foot problems can make every step difficult. Many people suffer from hallux valgus, hammertoes, heel spurs, or chronic arthritis. You don’t have to live with pain. We offer a full range of outpatient foot surgeries. You come in the morning, have your surgery, and recover at home the same day.

Procedure & Technology

Our podiatrists specialize in minimally invasive techniques:

  • Hallux valgus correction involves realigning the big toe joint using small incisions and advanced fixation.
  • Hammertoe repair involves releasing tight tendons and removing small bone fragments to straighten the toes.
  • Plantar fasciitis surgery is an endoscopic release of the plantar fascia for chronic heel pain that doesn’t respond to conservative treatment.
  • Metatarsal bone surgery is appropriate for neuromas, stress fractures, or metatarsalgia.
  • Arthrodesis is suitable for arthritic joints of the midfoot, hindfoot, or ankle.
  • Achilles tendon reconstruction is appropriate for chronic tendinopathy or acute ruptures.
  • Surgical treatment of ingrown toenails involves permanent removal of the problematic nail edge under local anesthesia.

Advanced Equipment

Our center is equipped with mini-arthroscopic instruments, fluoroscopy for precise bone manipulation, and modern soft tissue coagulation devices. We perform all surgeries under local anesthesia, regional block, or short‑acting sedation. You will feel comfortable and be able to go home within a few hours.

Patient Care

Our team will support you from the initial consultation to the follow-up call.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Will I be able to walk after foot surgery?

Yes, but you will need a special boot or crutches for 1-6 weeks. Most patients can bear weight on their heels immediately after hallux valgus or hammertoe surgery.

2. How soon can I wear regular shoes again?

After hallux valgus or hammertoe surgery, you typically transition to sneakers with wide, rigid soles after 4-6 weeks. It may take 8-12 weeks before you can wear regular shoes.

3. Is foot surgery painful?

We use long-acting local anesthetics. They numb your foot for 8-12 hours after surgery. Once the numbness subsides, most patients report moderate discomfort. Pain medications can help relieve this. Swelling and bruising are normal and will resolve within 1 to 2 weeks.
