You need a procedure, but you don’t want to stay overnight in a hospital. At Advanced Family Surgery Center, you don’t have to. Our modern and freestanding ambulatory surgery center provides outstanding surgical care. So you can recover at home—on the same day.

Essential Checklist

Shower

Shower before you come to the surgery center.

No Lotions

Avoid wearing lotions, perfumes, make‑up or deodorant.

Loose Clothing

Wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothes.

Vision care

If you usually wear contacts, wear glasses or bring a storage case for your lenses.

No Valuables

Leave jewelry and valuables at home.

Arrival Time

Give yourself time to arrive ahead of your scheduled appointment.

Identification

Bring a photo ID and current health insurance information.

Medications

Bring current medications in their original containers or list them with dosages and times.

Companion

I went to Advanced surgery for a cone procedure and they were amazing! The lady at the front desk was really friendly and made me feel less nervous. I got back there and the anesthesiologist and nurses were so comforting. My dr held my hand till I fell asleep which meant a lot to me because I was really scared about the anesthesia. I had to be there at 8:45 my surgery started at 9:45 and I was able to leave by 11:30 which I was happy with it did not take long at all and they were all so professional!

The nurses made him feel right at home in pre op with plenty of stickers and markers and gave him tons of loving snuggles in post op until I could get to him! They allowed us to stay until he calmed down from anesthesia and when we were comfortable with leaving. His surgeon was so kind and professional too! As a parent, we felt comfort knowing he was in great hands.
