Pain Management

Live Without Constant Pain

Overview

Living with chronic pain is debilitating. It impacts your sleep, mood, and ability to enjoy everyday life. We don’t mask your symptoms with pills; we treat the root cause of your pain. We offer minimally invasive, image-guided procedures that target the source of your pain. You come to our outpatient center, receive treatment, and return to your daily life.

Procedure & Technology

Our pain physicians offer:

  • Epidural steroid injections for herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and pain radiating to the leg or arm.
  • Nerve blocks for the diagnosis and treatment of back, neck, and headache pain.
  • Radiofrequency ablation provides long-term pain relief in arthritic facet joints or the sacroiliac joint.
  • Trigger point injections for muscle knots and myofascial pain syndrome.
  • Genicular nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation for chronic pain caused by knee osteoarthritis, especially before or after total knee replacement.
  • Peripheral nerve injections for carpal tunnel syndrome, epicondylitis, or plantar fasciitis.

Advanced Equipment

We use real-time fluoroscopy or ultrasound guidance to precisely deliver injections to the desired locations. This improves accuracy, reduces risks, and provides maximum pain relief. All procedures are performed under local anesthesia or light sedation. You will be awake but comfortable and can usually return to light activity the next day.

Patient Care

Our patient-centered team supports you from your initial consultation to your follow-up call.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long does pain relief last after a nerve block or radiofrequency ablation?

A nerve block can provide pain relief for several hours or weeks. It is often diagnostic. Radiofrequency ablation typically lasts 6-12 months. You can repeat the procedure if pain returns.

2. Is pain management covered by insurance?

Most major insurance plans cover medically necessary pain management procedures, including epidural injections, nerve blocks, and RFA. We will verify your insurance benefits before your visit.

3. Do I need someone to drive me home?

Yes, if you receive sedation. We perform most pain management procedures under local anesthesia only. You can drive yourself. For RFA or any sedation, you will need a responsible adult to drive you home. We will tell you in advance.
